Art for Homes The Kalasatama installation will be postponed to next year

Due to the prevailing pandemic situation, the Helsinki City Theatre’s audience outreach installation Art for Homes Kalasatama has been cancelled from December 2020 and postponed to 2021.

In the Art for Homes Kalasatama project, the homes of the residents of the area are made visible by means of a multimedia installation implemented in public space. The combination of image, sound and text immerses the viewer in one possible sample of the people of Kalasatama and the atmosphere of the homes of the people of Kalasatama. The project is part of the Kalasatama environmental art project and a continuation of the Helsinki City Theatre’s Art at Home events.

The installation will be on display at the REDI shopping centre (Hermannin rantatie 5) during 2021. A more specific date will be announced later.
