Kalevala meets rock in a new musical play for the whole family, Who Captured the Sun

Omituiset eläinhahmot, joilla joillakin on kypärät ja haarniskat, valmistautuvat taisteluun kallioisella kukkulalla, joka on laajan auringonkukkapellon vieressä. Kirkas, hymyilevä aurinko ja oranssit pilvet valaisevat mielikuvituksellista maisemaa.

The book also makes you think about the confrontation between greed and nature conservation.

In the sky of Väinölä, the sun shines golden. So golden that the greedy Louhi of the North gets an idea: if he robbed the sun and forged it into gold coins! Louhi and his wolf troops capture the sun in a cave and Väinölä gets cold. In the North, on the other hand, it is scorching hot as the chained sun smolders angrily in its cave. But the sun has a power that not even Louhi can do anything about. Even the most greedy learn what is really important in life. Who Captured the Sun is an adventurous rock musical for the whole family with an important message. Everything is fine in Väinölä and nature is blooming. Until Louhi, who has burst into the scene, thinks the sun is gold and decides to steal it with his wolf henchmen. But this is not acceptable to Väinölä’s dogs.
