Review: Herra Puntila ja hänen renkinsä Matti

Pertti Sveholm thrills

The large stage of the Helsinki City Theatre will be filled with action and colours. Tiina Kaukanen’s costumes in the play Mr. Puntila and His Servant Matti are absolutely delicious.
Mr. Puntila is taken care of by Pertti Sveholm, who drunkenly embraces the worlds,
But there is clearly a boss squatting his subordinates. Wouldn’t the play by Bertolt Brecht and Hella Wuolijoki have a sounding board for the present day as well! Sveholm, who plays a brilliant role, has Antti Peltola as an excellent actor. The duo’s dialogues remind me of many legendary couples, such as Ohukainen and Paksukainen.
