Hildur tells the story of detective Hildur Rúnarsdóttir (Elena Leeve) and takes viewers to Iceland’s mythical West Fjords, where Hildur solves murders in her hometown together with her Finnish colleague Jakob (Paavo Kinnunen). Hildur, who is struggling with her traumas, and Jakob, who is fleeing his past, find themselves in the middle of a strange web of crimes that is shockingly linked to Hildur’s own childhood.

Hildur weaves the viewer tightly into the intensifying suspense as the best-selling detective novel comes to life on stage. The Arena stage has proven its place as the country’s number one detective stage, where Hildur’s densely atmospheric story also comes into its own and sits handsomely among our Agatha Christie detective adaptations of recent years.
