Scenery Workshop

Around 24 people work in Helsinki City Theatre’s scenery workshop and props department. The scenery workshop builds all the large set pieces for the theatre’s stages, while the props department creates props and smaller objects used in productions. The team includes carpenters, metalworkers, an upholsterer and scenic artists, as well as prop designers and prop makers. Watch the video above to discover what goes on in the scenery workshop!
