Pauli is thoroughly fed up with his girlfriend Sofia. He wants to break up with her, but saying it outright is not so easy, so Pauli decides to try to make Sofia leave him instead.
He enlists the help of Martin, whom Pauli asks to move into their home, convinced that Sofia will tire of living in a shared flat and leave. But Sofia turns out to be very understanding of the men’s strange behaviour and is not at all put off by their new living arrangements.
Can Pauli manoeuvre his way out of the situation single and with his reputation as a decent guy intact? Will Martin stick to the role Pauli has planned for him? And what kind of surprise does Sofia have in store? Who will lose their nerve and take off?
A madcap comedy that is relatable to an almost squirm-inducing degree, as its characters try to stay together and break free with equal determination. Kolmen kimppa is fresh, riotous, completely bonkers and all too recognisable.

In autumn 2019, Helsinki City Theatre and Lippupiste are piloting dynamic pricing for theatre performances. The pilot will take place at Studio Pasila in September during performances of the comedy Kolmen kimppa.
Ticket prices are determined by how full the performance is and when the tickets are purchased. When tickets for a performance first go on sale, the starting price is significantly lower than the regular Studio Pasila ticket price (35 €). An algorithm then adjusts the price for each performance according to demand, within a range of 25 € to 50 €.
Dynamic pricing does not include traditional discounts for groups such as pensioners and students. Instead, every customer has an equal opportunity to benefit from the pricing model. Customers booking group tickets may still choose to use the theatre’s sales service, where traditional fixed pricing applies.
