In early autumn 2025, HKT will premiere Juha Jokela's new comedy Let's Play Business, the fresh farce comedy Sutinaa ja säätöä, the historical contemporary drama The Queen's Play, Aleksi from Finland, based on a true story, and the brand new musical play for the whole family, Who Captured the Sun. Lilla Teatern's autumn premiere will be Hyenans dagar, based on Saara Turunen's book. In August, the stage of the contemporary performance will bring to the premiere of the little_star95 – ooksä online? performance. In addition, the big favorites Moulin Rouge! The musical and My Brother the Lion's Heart will continue on the big stage throughout the autumn.

Red Nose Company celebrates its 20th anniversary by staging a Swedish-language performance for adults for the first time. The renowned professional theatre, specialising in theatre clownery, has been performing in Finnish since 2005. Strömsö offers an escape from reality and happy endings, and in this performance, the clowns also sing opera for the first time in the history of the Red Nose Company. The play will premiere on May 13 at Lilla Teatern, where it will be performed five times before going on tour in the fall of 2025.

Helsinki City Theatre brings to the stage the true story of Finnish professional soldier Aleksi Lysander (1989–2024). The play Aleksi Suomesta has been dramatised by Ari-Pekka Lahti from Tuomas Kyrö's book of the same name, which was nominated for the Finlandia Prize for non-fiction (WSOY, 2023). The play, directed by Tuomas Rinta-Panttila, will premiere on 9 October on a small stage.

Performances of the musical Katrina continue at Lilla Teatern from March 12. The beloved musical, which is praised by audiences and critics, has earlier this year played successfully at Wasa Theatre and Åbo Svenska Teater. The musical has been seen by 16,000 people and the music has now been released on streaming services.

A new musical play for the whole family, Who Captured the Sun, based on Mauri Kunnas's children's book on the theme of the Kalevala of Dogs, will premiere at Studio Pasila on 25 September. The work is dramatised and directed by Liila Jokelin, who has also composed the music for the play together with multi-instrumentalist Lauri Schreck.

Helsinki Dance Company's spring dance performance DREAMER will premiere at Studio Pasila on 20 March. Choreographed by Annamari Keskinen and Ryan Mason, this multidisciplinary dance piece is a performance about the interaction between the visible and invisible worlds.
