Based on Meri Valkama's sensational, award-winning debut novel (2021), Sin, Margot will premiere on HKT's big stage on 6 February. The play is an intense story about what happens when ideals begin to be shattered.

On 5 February, Studio Pasila will premiere the new musical New Eden, written and directed by Juho Mantere and composed by Henri Lyysaari. The musical comedy, which combines black humour, topical themes and catchy music, is a co-production of Helsinki City Theatre and Q-teatteri.

Helsinki City Theatre's dance group Helsinki Dance Company has hired three new dancers for 2025. In the future, the group's goal is to organize auditions annually, intensify cooperation with professionals in the independent field, and offer internships to students in the field. The spring dance premiere is DREAMER, a new performance by the internationally acclaimed Finnish-American artist couple, on 20 March.

In 2024, the Helsinki City Theatre had a total of 278,309 spectators. The most viewers during the year were the hugely successful Moulin Rouge! Musical. The audience has also been interested in the spring 2025 programme. According to the customer survey, the audience has once again been very satisfied with the City Theatre.

The spring season of the Arena stage starts on 29 January, when the eerily fascinating mystery of a closed space And None of the Saved will premiere. The classic detective story is directed by Sakari Hokkanen.

Minna Lund, one of the most followed directors of the new generation, and her team will bring an unruly performance to the stage of the Helsinki City Theatre's Contemporary Performance, in which the audience is invited to take part in a festive event that takes on new proportions.
