Lilla Teatern's autumn season begins on 11 September with the world premiere of Hyena Days, written and directed by Saara Turunen. The performance is partly based on her novel Hyeenan päivät (Tammi 2024) and it deals with the journey towards parenthood that began with fertility treatments.

On 3 September, the new and fresh farce comedy The Cottage, directed by Sari Siikander, will premiere on the Arena stage. Written by Sandy Rustin, which premiered on Broadway in 2023, this farce's comedy airing gender traditions is set in 1920s England, but its twists and characters are fully modern.

In November 2025, the dance work Project No. 2191 by renowned Hungarian choreographer Adrienn Hód will premiere on the small stage, and the History of Violence, based on Édouard Louis' books, will premiere at Lilla Teatern. In December, Studio Pasila will premiere the Shed musical theatre's Peter Pan. Other autumn premieres are: Let's Play Business, Sutinaa ja säätöä, Kuningatardrama, Aleksi Suomesta, Who Captured the Sun and Hyenans dagar. In addition, the Moulin Rouge! The musical and My Brother the Lion's Heart will continue on the big stage throughout the autumn.

On 30 August, the new comedy Let's Play Business will premiere on the big stage. Written and directed by Juha Jokela, one of Finland's most successful playwrights, who is visiting HKT for the first time, this exhilarating comedy deals with leadership and the challenges of working life with a hilarious touch.

The Queen's Play, about Queen Christina, who ruled Sweden from 1632 to 1654, will premiere on 28 August on a small stage. Written by Jussi Moila and directed by Sini Pesonen, this contemporary historical drama breathes strongly today with its themes of power, gender and love.

A total of 19 premieres were produced at the Helsinki City Theatre in the 2024–2025 performance year. A total of more than 327,000 spectators visited the theatre during the autumn and spring (2023–2024: 267,000, 2022–2023: 251,000). In addition, a total of more than 18,000 people participated in audience outreach activities and various events. A total of 811 performances were seen during the year.
