Helsinki City Theatre is one of seven professional theatres involved in the national Young Stage project organised by the Association of Finnish Workers' Stages. In the project, four leading professionals have written plays for young people aged 13–19, from which youth theatre groups prepare performances, and theatre professionals act as mentors for the youth groups.
